da roleta: With The Sun reporting that Fernando Llorente is looking to leave Tottenham, having grown disillusioned at his lack of playing time under Mauricio Pochettino, the north London outfit should be on the lookout for a replacement who can play the role of Harry Kane’s understudy.
What’s the word, then?
Well, the Spanish striker’s contract with the club runs out at the end of the current campaign, meaning that Daniel Levy and co will need to offload the forward in January if they are to recoup any of the £12m fee given to Swansea for his services.
Additionally, even if his contract was set to run longer, the 33-year-old isn’t interested in hanging around any longer due to the fact he has made just one start this season – against West Ham in the Carabao Cup.
With the former Athletic Bilbao man and Harry Kane as Pochettino’s only recognised senior strikers, a replacement is needed in order to provide competition and injury back-up to the England international.
Who should they get in?
One player who may not potentially want to be an understudy as such, but should definitely be bought to the new White Hart Lane is Porto’s in-form hitman Moussa Marega.
In seven Primeira League starts this season, the Malian has found the back of the net on three occasions, but more impressively, has struck four goals in just five Champions League starts.

The 27-year-old was in talks with West Ham over a move to the London Stadium back in the summer, although a move never materialised.
On the contrary to my earlier point, if he is on the radar of a bottom half Premier League side, perhaps he wouldn’t be adverse to competing with Kane and spending a bit of time on the bench at a top club instead.
The Primeira League star isn’t afraid to pull the trigger and is always looking to gain a yard in the box and get his shot away – his direct nature, as well as his robustness, appears to suit him to the Premier League perfectly.
