According to a recent Football FanCast poll, the majority of Birmingham fans are keen for manager Garry Monk to make a January bid to sign wantaway Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton, in what would surely be the Blues biggest transfer coup in years.
Heaton admitted to The Mirror recently that he may have to leave Turf Moor in January if he wants to be starting enough games, and Bristol Live then claimed that the 32-year-old is willing to drop down to the Championship in search of minutes.

The Chester-born stopper has three caps for England after making his debut under Roy Hodgson in 2016, but while Gareth Southgate has been in charge Heaton has been hugely unlucky with injury and was only fit enough to make the reserves list for the World Cup in Russia this summer.
A move to Birmingham though, who have 34-year-old Lee Camp as their only senior goalkeeper after David Stockdale and Tomasz Kuszczak were exiled by Monk in the summer, would surely be perfect for Heaton.
