da cassino online: A dejected Mick McCarthy lamented Wolverhampton’s ‘self-inflicted’ 1-0 defeat to Bolton on Wednesday.
da heads bet: McCarthy’s side had seemingly done enough to hang on for a point at Reebok Stadium until a calamitous back-pass from Ronald Zubar allowed Bolton debutant Daniel Sturridge to score an injury-time winner.
And with West Ham enjoying a 3-1 away win over Blackpool, Wolves find themselves anchored to the foot of the league table, much to McCarthy’s disappointment.
“I feel lousy, I feel robbed,” McCarthy told the BBC.
“I feel we had a point in our pocket and we’ve given it away. It was self-inflicted after we played all right in the game and scrapped it out.”
“It was self-inflicted at Fulham when we lost a point there, it was self-inflicted at home against Aston Villa, at Spurs, at Manchester United. I might go on and on.”
“To give it away in the manner in which we have, I don’t have the words to tell you how bad we feel. There had been a few chances at either end but I think we had all settled for a draw.”
Bolton boss Owen Coyle expressed contrasting sentiments about the clash, hailing the impact of loan signing Sturridge.
“I’m absolutely delighted,” Coyle said. “It’s always nice when you bring in a player who you believe can score goals and he pops up on his debut to do that.”
“We saw what he brought to the game when he came on – he was lively, he’s got a trick, he’s got composure as we saw with the goal, and it certainly augurs well for both the impact he’ll make until the end of the season and for Daniel’s future.”
“It was a welcome three points. I think it would have been a travesty if we hadn’t got them because of the chances we had tonight to get in front.
