da marjack bet: West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini tried to make his mark in the summer transfer window by recruiting nine new players.
da pinup bet: One of those arrivals was Jack Wilshere, who opted against signing a new contract at Arsenal and instead start a new chapter at the London Stadium.
Unfortunately for the midfielder, though, in his first four Premier League appearances he failed to make an impact.
Since then the England international has been sidelined with an injury, and he could struggle to get his place back in the team.
At the moment, Pellegrini uses a midfield three of Mark Noble, Declan Rice and Pedro Obiang, but perhaps he should consider dipping into the January market to bring in another face.
In the summer, the club were linked with a swoop for Porto midfielder Hector Herrera, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

According to CM Journal, the 28-year-old, who is valued at £18m by Transfermarkt, has rejected three offers of a new contract from Porto, which means that he could be available in January for a cut price.
Should West Ham try to secure a cheap deal?
