Speaking to South African broadcaster , he said:"I really think he [Erik ten Hag] should rethink Antony's position. He doesn't give much to the team. He frustrates his team-mates. It's really frustrating.
"He's had an opportunity for a long time, this is a player that hasn't scored this season, he's not made an assist and he's not scored, it's like he's not really understanding the game."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The 23-year-old winger made a return to the starting line-up after Rasmus Hojlund was ruled out through injury, meaning the in-form Alejandro Garnacho was once again shifted to the left-wing, while Antony played on the right.
Since arriving from Ajax in 2022, Antony has struggled to find his finest form for the Red Devils, with just four goals and two assists to his name in the top flight of English football. The Brazilian is yet to find the net in 16 Premier League appearances in the 2023-24 campaign.

Regardless of whether or not Antony will be featuring, United are currently preparing to face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup before hosting Tottenham at Old Trafford in their next league fixture.
The Brazilian winger was substituted just after half-time against Forest for youngster Amad Diallo, which could be a hint regarding his involvement in the upcoming fixture list for Ten Hag's team.
