da betsul： According to The Mirror, the Toffees are “weighing up a move” for Celtic’s Tierney as they continue to search for a replacement for Baines.
The 21 year-old Tierney has reportedly been “identified” as Baines’ successor, despite attracting interest from both Manchester United and Tottenham.
The young left back signed a new deal with Scottish champions in October so he won’t come cheap, but the report claims Everton are ready to test the waters with an opening bid.
It is not yet clear whether Baines will leave the club this summer, but at 33 the fan favourite left back is losing his pace and the Toffees are desperate to inject some new life into their defence.

The back four is undoubtedly the biggest problem area for Marco Silva and Marcel Brands in their first summer in charge at Goodison, and some of the defensive performances away from home last season were simply dreadful.
Tierney grabbed four goals and an incredible 11 assists last season, and wasn’t afraid to strut his stuff in the Champions League either, averaging over one key pass and one dribble per game in Europe’s top competition.
